is it boudoir? i find the portrait to be more on the artistic side. seductive, yet the natural looking light and the posing creates a very cinematic feel …

the lighting

since it was shot in the middle of the day in my sunny home studio, i couldn’t just use the fren-l. had the force 5 set up on the opposite side of the window outside to create the very elongated shadows behind her. the short and bright lights are all natural. the sun is pretty darn bright.

here is a very sensual boudoir portrait photo using natural day time light to cast those morning shadows. its a more intimate look to real life … to a romantic moment …

the second look is more stylized using a strong blast of light for a blast of power and dominance from the model.

i don’t feel the strong approach overwhelms the sensuality, but i would love to hear your thoughts …
