a photo shoot with an up-coming model is always a blast. she was extremely fun to work with and was extremely natural with being … natural. HAH

we played around walking back and forth along the studio capturing while las vegas makeup artist was running around attacking her with her talented brushes!

portrait lighting

i dug up the lowel fren-l to cast those interesting looking shadows. the first of many using this old-school light.

using strobes became overwhelming and led me into an avenue i didn’t want to go. depending on only light to set the scene, and forgot about the art of capturing the moment.

so as always, if you get lost you go back to the basics.
