clean beauty portrait with experimental lighting

I had an idea for a very clean beauty portrait by trapping light to make a very soft and glazing look by taking my long diffusing material and taping it on the reflective diffusing umbrella.

its a pretty hard to describe so ill just show ya. which involves me making it again real quick. one sec. here it is.

As you can see its not full of style but its results are extremely clean without post processing, and what you see being used is the force 5 with the 28mm attached to the 40D.

I’m one of those photographers who experiments with lighting and equipment, a little bit on the weird side, using duct tape, aluminum foil, cardboard and anything that will be of good use. So this was a little intro into the types of techniques I’ll be showing.
