vee produced vegas shake down 5 another sensational break dancing competition with the largest turn out to date. the most sensational crews competed, but too bad i was only able to see an hour of the madness.
at least I was able to see Knucklehead Zoo, House of Reps, Angels of Death, Battle Born and Runaway Tribe. Full Force competed but didn’t stay long enough to witness the magic. Next event is being hyped to be twice as insane.
Every time I shoot events like this i tend to go more artistic. shooting clean is too easy and unexciting for something this explosive. i love to encapsulate the picture with the emotions surrounding it. shot it with a couple of different methods using two TTL’s. made sure to get some no flash high iso shots to capture the other photographers lighting making shadowing very dramatic.
used the 40D with the 28mm and 115mm for depth of field and major contrast.
